water texture problems

I downloaded fs9wat.zip water replacement textures, but for some reason, the textures look like the below:

they are supposed to look like:


can someone tell me what's wrong?

Actually that is exactly what mine looked like. So i installed a different version and like it better !

Or a combination of them

I think the effect you are seeing is the white caps on the waves. But lower than you are when the picture was taken. And they will probably look even worse...

Did you set the water texture slider to full in the display?
