Postby MafiaTiger » Fri Jan 14, 2005 10:23 pm

How do you open the cargo doors. I zoomed to far in, into a default plane with no virtural cabin and saw the cockpit through the plane, the background for the main exit, and i saw a cargo hold with a door (in a boeing 777) how do you open the cargo doors?  ;D

Check the kneeboard command list, but most models use Shift+E, followed quickly by the number for the door you want.

Just tried it with my default 777: Shift+e, then 1 got the main door to open. Shift+e, 2 closed it. Shift+e, 3 opened it again, etc. Usually if the cargo doors are operational on the model, the different numbers (1-4) will open or close different doors. You'd repeat the same command to open or close a particular door. So this seems odd.  Maybe my install is not the best test bed, as I'm having trouble with it in other areas right now. Or perhaps this default model doesn't have working cargo doors.  However, if you get the kneeboard displaying properly, you'll see the command under "Select exit". Good luck...

There ya go... but a question: have you been able to open any doors on the 777 besides the forward entry door?

There are two doors you can open on the boeing 777. The main exit and the cargo door, press shift + e and right after press 1-2. 1 is the main exit 2 is the cargo hold

Actually, there's no reason to hit 1 right after shift+e. shift+e alone will open the main door, it's the cargo door that shift+e+2 is needed for.
