Steve Grant's Dehavilland Beaver,
I find it one of the most fun to fly VFR planes, the flight model and characteristics is awesome.  Only thing it doesnt include is a panel, but theres lots of good DHC-2 panels out there designed for it.  Also it doesnt have openable doors as I can tell.  But other than that, its simply awesome.

95/100
Cheers,
RB

I would have to agree with Joe about the Connie.

My favorites for aircraft would include:

1. F4U-7 Corsair, Guy Hulin, et al.

2. Junkers 52, O. Fisher, et al.

3. Hawker Hurricane II, Robert Sanderson, et al.

4. The Vistaliners 727-200, Vistaliners.

5. F-18 Hornets, Daisuke Yamamoto, et al.

6. American Airlines Boeing 777-223ER, MelJet.

7. Boeing B-52H, Yanco, KBT, et al.

8. China Airlines Boeing 747-409 'Dreamliner Livery,' POSKY, C. Vincent Cho, et al.

That should do it for aircraft. Overall I don't have many criticisms to say about the above other than some minor FDE quirks.

Helicopters:

1. McDonnell Douglas [Hughes] MD500D, Peter Nemeth, Tamas Nemeth, et al.

2. McDonnell Douglas [Hughes] MD500E, Peter Nemeth, Tamas Nemeth, et al.

For scenery:

1. Texture Switch/Texture Art, Yngve Ramsen.

2. FS Sky World 2004, ver. 1.0, FSW Group.

3. Colorized Default Scenery Textures, Steve Kempf, 11/03.

4. FS2004/FS2002/FS2000 70m Global Terrain Mesh, connverted and compiled by Stephen Rothlisberger.

AI traffic packages:

1. Real Airlines AI Traffic (Europe) by Chester, et al.

2. Real Airlines AI Traffic (USA) by Chester, et al.

3. The PACAF Military AI Collection Part 1, by Dave O'Brien, assisted by Rob Danser

Utilities:

1. AFCAD ver. 2.21, Lee Swordy.

2. Traffic Tools ver. 2.02, Lee Swordy.

That's a lot of gigabytes worth of creative and talented work.

I have always been a big fan of the Cessna 172 and when I found the Avalon skin my search for something special was over..........the "beat up" appearance which must be typical of thousands of this popular aeroplane is superbly done in my opinion and I give it 99.999

Project AI.

Fills the skies with loads of real world airlines and makes FS considerably more realistic.

9/10!

Downsides: not enough airlines, but there are still LOOOOOOADS to choose from.

This is supposed to be just "awards" please dont distract the topic since the focus will be lost.

Remember to grade the adon and post the link.

This is very good for people new to FS2k4 who want to get the best quality of ads.

;) ;) :) :)

Everyone has their favourite aircraft but we all take off and land somewhere.I have never got the hang of  AFCAD so all my my A.I. traffic and my progressive taxi lines end up going over grass and through terminals when landing or taking off from third party addon airports. NO MORE!

For me the best free addon is the Airport Enviroment  Upgrade Version 6 (aeu6.zip). Proper ashphalt and concrete runways, with skid marks.Great taxiways with proper markings and much improved buildings. No AFCAD problems.

If you think about it,what is the point in having a replica of an airport you have never seen before? I'll never download and install a third party airport again!

10 out of 10!
