Hi TTS..which particular plane are you trying to install..it does vary a little from plane to plane so if you could say which download  then someone will be better able to advise you..commoner ;)

Hi stars. Read this tute carefully & see how you get on. http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm

All downloads will vary in some way but it's very straightforward once you understand the basic principle. Make sure you install the files to the correct location, the Flight Simulator 9 folder on your hard drive. A common mistake with beginners is to try installing files to the CD. This is not possible.

Do you mean a repaint or a panel? I think there is a tutorial around to!

I'll look it up...

Depends on what sort of upgrade it is. Usually you install the original aircraft first, then paste in the modified files in the appropriate locations. Overwrite files/folders when prompted. If the original worked OK it's a good idea to take a backup copy of it before modifying it. This applies to everything you do, especially default files.

I just had a look at the update download and providing you have the original aircraft installed  the Readme file explains it nicely...if you aren't experienced in the ways of manpulating files and folders then it is difficult to explain it any clearer than in the Readme...just follow the instructions carefully ..no files need to be modified ..just replaced with the new ones supplied..just back up the originals first (make copies) in case you mess up ;) commoner
