Just read this post and Skittles, I must say it sounds and looks like its going to be a good program. Looking forward to having a go with it.

Keep up the good work, have a safe trip.

THere's going to be another delay.  While I was testing the program on a second computer, I noticed the Dile/Directory navigator does not display hidden directories. VB4 does not allow the display of hidden directories.  I've been trying to re-write a work around but it kicking my butt.

I just don't have the time with my underway schedule. So far, this is the biggest problem I'm having, so hopefully I'll have it ready by Nov 8th.

Let me understand you here:

Your program will allow you to select different keyboard and joystick mappings as well as settings for different A/C?

So if I fire up the sim and want to fly an MD-11 I can pick a keyboard map for that particualr plane. then if I switch to an F-14 I can select another setting?

That would be cool to have.

Skittles, I think this looks like an excellent tool for FS!  Please, let me know when it's ready.  ;D

That's basically correct. You would create two keyboard configs. The FSCS would swap whatever config is in the fs9.cfg with the one you've selected. But, you WILL have to exit flight sim in order for FSCS to make the swap. The same goes for joystick configs. You can create upto 100 joystick and keyboard configs. However, we are limited to 10 joystick configs being "available" at any one time.

Here's the manual for you guys to look through, while I un-program myself out of a corner.

Well, I guess it's ready...

Now remember, this is the very first release and I have no idea how it will function on WinXP machines.  Support information can be found in the Users Manual.

Thanks and good luck!

I just d/l the user manual and will have to review when i get the time. So far from the previous posts and just a cursory look of the manual it seems a very intriguing utility.

BTW...the forum says I have a message. How do we access those?
