Call Signs now inoperative

Postby sflyer » Wed Sep 22, 2004 10:24 pm

For no apparent reason my meljets and all others I fly (except defaullts) will not let me select the call sign like "American" or "United" or "Air Canada."

I can not seem to type on the selection to allow them, and all of them pass the utility audit that shows all the ATC name are in the right place. I am tottally stumped.

The PAI names are just fine, so anyone know what I might have done to cause this, or how I can fix it??

Thank you,

What utility audit are you talking about?
And when you say you can not select a callsign do you mean in the select aircraft window that shows the plane rotateing and two boxes where you can edit the tail number and callsign. Or are you talking about something else.

Thank you for answering Gary!

I am referring to the box that appears after clicking on "change" after aircraft selection appears. The airline box is on the left with choices a menu arrow, and boxes to click on the "heavy" option. It is called "ATC Name."

Today none of the aircraft have their names, including the default planes. ATC just calls them by aircraft type.

The box where airline names appears is blank and it will not allow me to either change or to type on it.

The utility is called FSACC - aircraft consistancy check that I downloaded from somewhere. It shows that the files contain the right codes or not, and according to it, everything is set up right on the individual aircraft files etc.

I feel like wiping everything out, reloading and starting over! Any suggestions?
