I was reasonably happy with ArrCab but it was so complicated that I rarely used it.

rcbco, however, worked like a charm right out of the box, so to speak.  The install can be a little intimidating at first but after I got around to studying the manual I had no problem with it.

As far as your catapult not working you just have to have dsd_catapult.gau installed in the panel, then hit ARM and ACT(ivate).  There's a 5 second delay, which you can bypass with the parking brake, then you're off.

Hi Foo-Fighter
I've got rcbco-11 running like a charm on my little pc. I'm
running about 15 carrier landable miljets from fs98
thru fs2002. They all work fine.
You simply can't use the freeware version of arrestor
cables in fs9. I guess the payware version works.
I assume you know the drill re the catapult. It doesn't
really matter where your a/c is on deck other than the
longer the run the better. Hit "arm". Down flaps. Full
throttle. Hit "activate" and release the brakes if your
a/c tend to creep as some of my older a/c do. In the
a/c config file, I've changed the speed and length of
liftoff to 250250 which seems to work well. I'd advise
really having another good look at your installation.
Granted it's a bit tricky. Good luck.

I don't beleive that the tail hook command is pre-programmed.  You'll have to go find it under the key assignments menu.  I have mine assigned to Tab, whcih doesnt have anything assigned to it as default.
