Combining two bgls

Postby Werd » Sun Dec 30, 2007 10:05 am

Hi all
I'm pretty new to AI traffic so excuse me if my question is to obvious.

I compiled two BGL files with the SDK. One is for _global_ air traffic. The other one is for the specific traffic in some country. Traffic quantity in FSX is set 100%. The problem is FSX ADDS both bgl in airports where they are both active. I want them COMBINED. There are way too many aircrafts!
What does it look like? I have traffic.bgl with global traffic and AIRNZ.bgl with Air New Zealand traffic. When I add AIRNZ.bgl new aircraft doesn replace and diversify the default one but ADDs, so I have Air NZ aircraft just about everywere on the parkings!!  ;D
Can somebody please help me?

edit: oh yeah, I forgot. Shedules are generated automatically so there are just way to many aircraft. So actually there are two solutions
-auto-generate less flights in sdk (how?)
-make FSX combine two bgls and not add them

Ok I found one solution. It's easy:
-decompile the global traffic bgl with AIFPC
-delete a part of New Zealand flights
-recompile the file
-decompile the Air NZ bgl
-delete a part of shedules
-recompile it
-repeat for each airline (and I want to add arround 10 of them)

:o :o :o

Please tell me there is another solution  ;D

Well actually it was easier then I tought with AIFPC. Just had to create 2 bgls, decompile them, copy-paste flights and recompile ONE bgl.
It didnt change much  :) but at least I can customize things now.

But now I got another question.
Say we take Air France. I can automatically generate some regional flights and add them to my global traffic. Now what if we want some international flights? I mean auto-sheduled again. If I add Berlin and NY to the list of airports I'll get NY-Berlin Air France flights which is not correct. I want only Paris-Berlin and Paris-NY flights.
