I am looking for

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

I am looking for

Postby videokid1969 » Mon Dec 10, 2007 4:42 am

I was wondering if some body can help, I am looking for 2 WWII aircraft. One is a nice P-40 Warhawk with the right marking for that war and the other is a P-38 lightning that flies right and that the tail does not lift off the runway or should I say the wing gear does not come up b4 the noise gear does. I have poked around this site a little but have not found any that look good or sound right and fly right. Please help, I am a real big fan of WWI and WWII Warbirds.

Have you tried to use google to search for the aircraft. I remember reading about a VA that used WWII aircraft but have no idea what aircraft they used. Try looking through the Virtual Airlines forum Some VA'S use realistic aircrat for there airline. Of course you would have to register with the VA to get there aircraft but you can allways just drop out and keep the aircraft as long as you do not use any of there aircraft to make money with you should not have a problem. 8-)

The P-40 was used by well over 40 air forces in the 1939-1945 period, so it would be more convenient if you narrow down to the version  A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/K/ etc., Allison or Merlin engine, etc etc etc

Thank you for the info. Felix/FFDS I am not particular, the merlin engine is a good one. I am look for one that has the shark mouth painted on the fron with the eye like it is suppost to be. and painted in the olive green and olive drab camo. If can't find that then just help me to find a nice looking P-40, that flys nice and has all the working parts. garymbuska thank you for the web site I will check it out.
