He's probably just using that as an example.
You might just want to look around for certain designers. Such as Kirk Olson (sp?) or Kazunori Ito. Their aircraft are very visually well designed, but sometimes they lack realistic flight envelopes. Of course, Ito has been designing things recently that don't HAVE flight envelopes that can be tested in real life (fictional aircraft/spacecraft) but you should really give them a look.
As for specific aircraft, I do recall that there is a Concord out there that makes most other aircraft look tame in regards to framerates.
I would also recommend checking out
Stratojet's homepage, as it contains some of my favorite aircraft. Especially get the Albatross and DHC3 NG. NOTE: these aircraft have not successfully been updated to FSX, so you can only fly them in FS9 or below.
