Weight and balanceQ400

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Weight and balanceQ400

Postby draconous » Wed Sep 06, 2006 7:50 am

I have the Dreamwings Dash 8 Q 400 but I have a bit of a problem trying to use it with FSPassenger. The program says that the even when empty of passengers the fuel load makes the aircraft over weight. Is there a fix for this or am I S.O.L

I don't know much about the FSPassengers program, nor about the Dreamwings Q 400, but I DO know that it sounds like a fixable problem.

Try posting the [fuel] section of the aircraft config so we can get a look at it.

It think you might have too much weight for the max with full fuel.  You might want to add a little to the max gross weight, which won't affect actual performance; or try checking the web for actual statistics on that aircraft and seeing if the fuel amount is actually correct.
