Spitfire

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Spitfire

I've been searching through the vintage section for a spitfire and I wanted to know what anybody thought was the best spitfire from a visual standpoint most importantly.

Freeware wise, Aeroplane Heaven's Seafire package. Paul Rebuffat made some good models for FS2002 which have been converted to FS2004.

Payware wise, AH for variety, and Real Air Simulations for quality... :)

Charlie Paul made his stuff for CFS2 ;) However on the freeware front I agree that the AH Seafire is the best package out there! Pity about their payware one ::)
There are also the YAS Spitfires by our own Merlin66 ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
