Tutor Grob

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Tutor Grob

Postby masmith » Sat Apr 29, 2006 2:34 pm

I am requesting a Grob Tutor for FS2004...

From my experiences there are many young RAF,CCF,ATC Cadets in the flight Sim communities many here on SimV.

I myself am I RAF Cadet in the CCF (Combined Cadet force).

Many of us spend time, mostly on weekends flying this wonderful aircraft; and some cadets with flying scholarships and so on, would benefit greatly from a fully authentic and detailed Tutor Grob ( VC, Clear Panel, Correct Flight model .etc), This aircraft available for FS2004 would most appreciated by the young cadets which spend there free time in flight simulation.

Is anyone up for the challenge ;)

(Please mail me or continue this post if you are interested)

Yer thanks for the link but I have tried this Tutor and its not very good,

Any way the CCF is good, but I would prefer to be in ATC, but I have no choice as my boarding school only runs CCF, buts its good fun as well as the RAF section there's the army section which Im a part of,
You cant beat running round a wood at night firing blanks at your fellow cadets.
Ill try post some Pics

But I should be going flying on the 11 of may

Thanks for the intrest ;)

(As we say 99.9% of cadets need not apply. LOL ;))

Mmm, I could see its advantages. To be fair its something the RAF could do with being linked with - it'd be a nice recruitment tool... :)

Dave Garwood's, as link by Mini_C is the best around though. It'd be nice is someone made a Simshed type quality one though...

It is on Simshed's list of things to do!  The Instruments and panel are ready!!

We use Dave Garwood's Tutor to test them, which incidently is very good (just needed a couple of tweaks in the aircraft.cfg)!!

All instruments scratch built from new (HSI borrowed for time being!).

Learjet Autopilot is included for instrument testing purposes!!

It will be available SOON!

Regards

Jim (SIMSHED)

It's OK, the Grob was the first thing I made for FS, loooong ago :D I hope I've improved a bit since then. ;)

I think you may have done Dave. I still like your Tutor, and with Andy Nott's repaints it's still going strong... :)

CCF sounds fun...especially the firing-blank thingy, sounds like paintballing with blanks :D

As for wanting to be in the ATC, why not contact your local squadron? 8)
