Does anyone know where I can get a Cessna 150?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Does anyone know where I can get a Cessna 150?

Postby homesicktexan » Mon Sep 26, 2005 5:08 pm

I'm taking flight lessons right now and I find it very helpful to  return home after a lesson and do the EXACT lesson from the EXACT airport that I used earlier in the day on FS 2004. Unfortuanatley, I'm not taking lessons in a brand new 172... I'm using a 1966 150 that has seen her better day. That being said, I wonder if anyone knows of a 150 I could download and use to supplement my lessons. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums, but please have a look at other sections before you post.  There is a whole section over in "Aicraft Wanted" that will most likely answer your question.  Also, use the "site search" and you can search for the 152 there.

There's one here at SimV:

Also if you can afford a payware airplane there's an excellent C152 from Flight One. I have a number of their aircraft including the C152 and they are all excellent quality and you can't loose with their 30 day no questions asked refund.

I would recomend the GForce 150. High quality with an excellent VC ;)

Don't waste your money on payware. They offer ONLY eye-candy. Your purpose seems a little more realistic than that.

Can you give a better idea of what you expect from re-living the most recent lesson?

I did my Private License on a 1966 C-150 back in 1967. Don't be down on it cuz it's old. It'll teach you what you need to know.

The GForce one is the best of the freeware ones I've seen, in terms of being like a real-life, dumpy old 150 (love 'em!)... NOT a 152 or Aerobat.
But even that is not great... I'll probably finally go payware with a 150 when i get tired of flying the GForce Team's freeware 150H.
