new airport and objects around

Postby washburn_it » Sun Jan 11, 2004 5:51 am

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to design a new airport to place near the existing Venice airport (LIPZ).
The airport I'm designing doesn't exist in the real world...it's a kind of experiment I'm doing to get into the "art of scenery design" so I have a question for all of you (who are much more experienced than me):
how can I clean the area where this airport will be placed from the objects around? (houses, trees)
Everytime I place the airport in a location I find houses or trees on the runway or in the airport's buildings.
Is it possible to clean an area?
I'm using AFCAD v2.21.
Thank you in advance.
Bob

You need to place an exclusion zone, but I don't know how to do this without wiping out your AFCAD :o

Thank you for your answer !
Does FSSC give the chance to set up an exclusion zone?
If so I will download it.
