FS9 Light files for dummies?

Postby Stewy44 » Wed Sep 08, 2010 6:42 am

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you could help me please.  Sorry if this has been covered before.

I haven't found a good light file for the default FS9 aircraft yet (esp the 777, 747 and 747F) - either the windows don't match the model, they're too bright in the middle, etc.

When I try and modify the light files, they turn out badly.  Is there a tutorial which explains how to pull apart / modify the default light file that keeps the layers intact, etc.

Cheers guys, I'd like to try and fix the light files if I can.

I think I've cracked it lads - it took two nights and a bit of theorising.

This tutorial helps a lot:
