You know

Overclocking is fun and it can make an older system run much better, but in my opinion posting how to do it here where there are hundreds of sites that specialize in the art is not real good.

Overclocking when you have never done it, is the most dangerous thing you can do to a computer. It require more than me listing exactly what settings to change, which I CANT on every computer. Each system has its own BIOS settings available and there are small software 'hack' programs for getting to BIOS settings in Windows your BIOS may be missing.

there are many ways to clock a system. CPU multiplier, memory divider, memory fq, FSB, combination of all

I won

but as nick said, you need to know whats going on with your system first, otherwise it go boom boom and mummy and daddy go smack smack
