Ok after tweaking I have achieved about -20C idle acording to Nv Monitor. So after a few hours of use...how is it? Well its ummm....NOISY. It didn't sound so bad in garage but in room its like a loud electrical clicking type deal. Im goign to need some noise cancelling phones pronto! Thats my fault for using a rotary compressor but I wanted small. So other than that everything seems to be working fine. Ill try and update from time to time and post what kind of clocks I can achieve but I was informed my last thread got a bit excessive so im going to try and not bable so much this thread and try and make it more worth reading maybe? If your into this kinda crap.
So here is the unit, I had it overcharged so it was frosting all the way to the accumulator. It has about 5 mm of perfectly white snowy frost was very neat but bad for my temps and the compressor.
A shot of how I have it routed, i went with the 3 foot suction line so I had extra I needed to coil. Eventually I will tape the whole thing but I just got the vitals as my tape roll ran out.
And to prove it booted and runs here is a screen shot. Also another angle on the mounting job. I kind of miss my 120 Delta fan there because it dropped my gpu temps 3-5C same with my ram. Oh well CPU overclocking comes first and this ram wont do over 250 Mhz it seems so it dosen't matter.
It took up most of my desk room. I think maybe since I have the extra long tubeing it will find a better home under the desk. My goal is 3 Ghz so far I have gotten to 2.820 stable at 1.375 with a slight droop so we will see how well she does. it's going to be a long process of tuning and clocking. Also you need to turn the phase on before the computer for about 15-30 seconds. Without a phase change taking place it has about zero cooling capacity and is surrounded in insulation, your cpu may go bye bye! 8-)
