Postby Harold » Tue Aug 14, 2007 1:21 pm

Visual Studio 2008 enables developers and development teams to create great connected applications on the latest platforms, including the Web, Windows Vista, the 2007 Office System, SQL Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008. Register and download Visual Studio 2008 today and receive a set of technical resources to help you get the most out of your evaluation experience.

For those of you who like to try the new Visual Studio or learn how to program in Visual C++, Visual C#, Visual J# or just some plain ol' Visual Basic, Microsoft just made the beta of Visual Studio 2008 publicly available. If you're not interested in programming languages you should know that this is the tool that also builds websites and applications.

Although it is still in beta it is still a very good tool, which was first codenamed Orcas ... now where have I heard that name before?

IF you like to try go here, And if you'd like to have a sneak peak at Windows Server 2008 go here ;)

Installed runtime version is 3.5

Although it is still in beta it is still a very good tool, which was first codenamed Orcas ... now where have I heard that name before?

Its the name of the Windows Installer script editor that is used to make MSI files
