As for the 9 year olds on BF2. Eh I have mixed feelings. As long as your not TKing me for the helo, or spamming the VoIP / Chat I guess I'm fine with the idea. I have been playing Goldeneye 64 ever since I was seven. FPS are good for kids. Increases hand eye, and response times. Both are good skills for driving. At the same time though I have a huge problem with all these 12 and unders in CS. They are constantly spamming the chat with profanity, and calling anyone a cheater that happens to be better than them.

Basically if your going to be a young MP FPS player here is my one rule.
1: Act as mature as you can at all times, unless the server is just fooling around having fun. I dont mind that you play with me, as long as you are somewhat professional about it Im fine.

I had been a huge fan of CoD2 online, that is until they patched it

Seems something with the patch makes it unplayable by someone on dial up. Sure I would have some good ping spikes occasionaly but now I can't even start in a ruckus before hitting 999, LMAO.
That and most servers don't understand what ping is and how it may affect the game, so set thier server up to some lame low number like 50. i would average 220 which trust me is smooth gameplay with no adverse effect on anyone else but myself.

I agree with the kiddies who play, the constant rambling in the chat window, or VoIP is rather annoying and cheater seems to be one of the few words more than 4 letters they know

And the real hacks that play just to really cheat, what is up with that? How fun can a game be if you are playing God Mode? Maybe it is just me I play for the fun of it i don't care about a kill score I just want to have a good time. Seems to many base thier lives and ego on a number.

Funny killscores and benchmarks are how most rate thier status now in life

Well with BF2s punkbuster, cheating really dosn't ever happen, unless a server has cheats enabled. In that case it is rathar fun when everyone is running around with these crazy combos on, just getting amazing kills.
