Well, Flaming Cliffs is the add-on for Lock-On, so if you get Flaming Cliffs, you will need and original copy of Lock-on, but they are relatively cheap.  I would HIGHLY recommend getting both, as Flaming Cliffs adds the Su-25T and the advanced flight model for the Su-25 and -25T, and they are some of the best flight models in any sim to date (other than some in X-Plane maybe).  Flaming Cliffs also fixes many bugs in the original as well as adds many new features.  You will also be able to get the new Black Shark add-on which comes out soon and lets you fly the Ka-50 Hokum with an AFM also.  Also, if you want to play online, everyone is using the latest versions of FC, so you would need that if you wanted to do multiplayer.

You really need to get Flaming Cliffs-LOMAC is essentially a glorified beta (lotsa bugs I've heard) without it, and you get more aircraft.

Nope, won't ever have one either.  You'll have to wait a couple of years for their next project, or wait for Fighter Ops. ;)
