multi region ps2

Does anyone know anything about modding a ps2 for american games on a uk ps2? i have heard some say there is a cd that can be used but i cant find it. I am desperate to get  copy of ncaa football 06 which cant be bought here.

Theres firms that'll do it for you..
Think gamestation do it.. not sure.. Try having a look in the back on PS2 mags if you have any..

Having never played a PS2, I can't help too much.

But isn't the only difference between a American PS2 and a Euro PS2 the video format, right? You know, PAL vs. NTSC.

Just make sure the game is a PAL versian and it should work.

there isnt a pal version of the game sadly. thanks guys, i have found some cd/card that doesn't need you to open the thing up so hopefully it'll work.
