My Sim Console--more progress

Work has continued...

got the annunciator mostly finished (just gotta get the actual light plates clear of the old tags, and paint).

Here are some views of it.

that was a lot of soldering :o the bottom row is not going to be used

as you can see, I still retained the original look to it, just gutted it, and re wired it, all the negatives are bussed

had to do a little repinning.

I also got the base part of the sim painted and 3 of the 4 mixture handles put on.

you can see the engine start switches in place at the top.

the handles came off a kc-135A ground trainer.  they were nasty and dingy from sitting out for  ## years.  its amazing what Testors paint and a beadblaster can do.  8-)
