cheap laptop to play fs9

Postby sk8z27 » Wed Dec 17, 2008 5:20 pm

i'm just looking to get a laptop in the $500-$600 range.  there are a lot of laptops, but don't know what to look for.  i'm not using is as my main computer, so spending more is not an option.  anybody have experience playing fs9 on a less expensive laptop?  i'm not looking to max the settings, but play it in medium if possible.

Here is a good one. Decent graphics, good HD space, the processor isn't that great but if you want better you need to spend at least $650 for an intel laptop. Newegg has a bunch on sale because it is so close to Christmas so look around.

If you can get one, try a Compaq Cq60-114em... its what i have and it runs fs9 at reasonable frames on medium graphics.

i found this for sale in my area for $650.  it's used, but just wondering if these specs look good.  i googled it and it seems like a good multimedia laptop, but not sure how it would play fs9.
