Ant thoughts or improvements you guy would suggest?

I have a tight budget, by that i mean 550-

Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.52GHz.
Asus P5KPL-CM Motherboard.
A 8800GT 512MB
2 Gb of RAM. 2X1Gb stick running at 800Mhz each.
Standard CD drive.
A old case which i will add and fans to create air flow.
WD 160GB HDD SATA 7200rpm

Total price...around $500 AUD

If you are running a real heat-producer for a chip, make sure you have PLENTY of airflow. Those 8800 vidcards make heat, too. You might consider running with the side panel off until you are sure your temps are in the green zone...

If you are going 2Gbs of RAM I suggest getting them in 1x2Gb modules or even bust out a few extra bucks and get 3Gbs (1x2 1x1) I also suggest an additional cooler. I have an 8800GT with a cooler and I run at good temps.

Yeah the RAM i will be buying is 2X1 GB kit

And i will ether run it with side panel off and spend 15 bucks for fans and create a nice air flow ( 2 sucking out and 2 blowing in
