Has anyone got any experience with trying to use CH yoke and pedals that are game port connections, but then using USB converters to plug the equipment into USB computer inputs?
My question is simply - does this work?
I keep talking myself out of forking over the $200 for new CH yoke and pedals equipped with USB connectors when I see lots of $50 sets on ebay that seem to differ only in that they are game port connectors.
Anyone actually done this?
Thanks-
Very interesting....
Apart from a suitable converter plug/socket, another way is to get hold of a cheap Sound Card fitted with a Gameport Socket, (Soundblaster, etc?).
I find my Sound Card-Gameport connector very useful sometimes, for older-type Joysticks, etc...
