Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant

Postby Eagle82 » Sat Dec 29, 2007 1:28 pm

I recently purchased the Pro Flight Yoke system (which includes the yoke and a throttle quadrant) and purchased an additional Pro Fight throttle qudrant.  I have the two throttle quadrants side-by-side (for a total of 6 axis).  I've been having problems with my additional throttle quadrant.  I have the 4th and 5th axis assigned as engine 3 and 4 throttle control.

When I start a flight in the default 747, my engine 4 (axis 5) starts at 50% thrust and will only go as high as 80%.  My engine 3 (axis 4) will not increase or decrease thrust at all.  All other axis are working fine.

I tested the throttle quadrant with the profiler and it appeared to be working fine.  I also calbrated the quadrant and saved the settings, but when I return to the sim, the same problems occur.

I'm thinking my additional throttle quadrant is defective.  Has anyone had similar problems?

had the same problem, it isn't defective. when you go back into the assignments, make sure the sensitivity is turned all the way up for both. On mine, for whatever reason, the sensitivity was turned down. don't know why, but all axis' work perfectly now  :)
