After market cooling

Postby pengyman89 » Sat Dec 29, 2007 3:09 pm

So, just wondering how important this is. I'm getting an eVGA 8800gt soon, and wondering what I should look at in terms of cooling. All the fans in my computer are stock, but with a new PSU and the video card going in i'm wondering if i should look at increasing the cooling. The last time I saw what the temperature my card was running at i believe it was 62C.

thoughts and suggestions?

What I did was add 2 120mm fans on the side panel one facing the graphics card and the other facing the CPU cooler. I think an 80mm fan facing the graphics card should be enough to cool it down a bit, though.
