All your programs are still there because you reinstalled Windows without reformatting the hard drive, and that's probably why you are having problems. Reformat and see what happens. Also, Dell sucks.

Sounds like you had bad memory, or a fragmented hard disk. Reguarly doing a disk defrag is one of the best things you can do for a computer to make sure that everything runs smooth.

As for the computer. Why are you buying an OEM, and at that a Dell? Building yourself is going to be a much better option. Also look at the Intel Core 2, not the AM2 processers.

Cheers

Ok, yes i know,, my pc really sucks. But i've tried the new ones that got a really cool Procesors and video cards, I was playing  BF2 like at 30FPS!!! SO i thought that was kind of pretty cool. I think that they've gotten better.

And btw.... how can I reformat and stuff so that all my things are gone and i can start from the begining?

He is talking about a laptop. I built my computer but I wouldn't dream of trying to build a laptop.

Nope.

I really need a new PC, im  thinking the new Dell desktops with AMD 64 Processors and Nvidia GeForce graphics cards. the one i priced was about 670 USD.

Anyways, to reformat while reinstalling windows you restart your PC while the windows setup CD is in the CD-ROM drive. It should enter setup automatically, if it doesn't make the CD-ROM the first boot device in the BIOS. Then pick install Windows instead of reinstall, and when you pick what partition to install on you delete the current partition and then make a new partition. I pick quick format.

I reccomend you build your own instead of buing mass manufactured systems like Dell. Mass manufactured systems use low quality components and cost more than a system you would build yourself. If it seems difficult to build your own, a store or a friend could help you with assembly. For about $700 I think you can get a pretty good system on the 939 socket.

AMD 3800+ X2
SLI or Crossfire Motherboard
1GB RAM
7600GT
250GB HD
DVD Writer
Case + PSU

If you can read second grade english, or basic spanish you can put together a computer by just reading the manual and looking at the pics.

Not to mention the fact that you actually get a PC that works as it's supposed to at the end of the excercise.

Time for you to start researching mainboards.

Oh Look!
