we shall agree to disagree here I think there all good cards and you basicly get what you pay for and if a card costs alot less than a simlar card there is likley to be some serious disadvantage towards that card, be it performance or features.  As for HDTV yes the cards support it but they don't support the eyncryption that goes along with it as this requires an additional chip that very few board manufacturers bother with.

Your thinking of HDTV in, not out. Its saying that it will play HDTV quality out, not take a HDTV signal in.
