More network problems

This time its definately either a hardware or software problem.  For some reason, my network adaptor claims that there are no networks in range.  I know it is wrong, because the computer im typing on right now is farther away from my computer, and it is fine.  Ive checked all the settings, and they are Identical to those on other computers.  For some reason tho, my computer wont pick up the network.  This is really frustating, as I need to do some work, and I cant without internet (and it would be much better to work on MY computer than this old POS (733MHz pentium 3, 512MB ram, GeForce MX4000 POS grapphics card, and a nearly full 40GB HD)

If you have access to the wireless router's setup utility:

On the router Enable 'broadcast SSID'. Your computer should now find

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
