VIdeo Card RPM & Temp monitor

Postby Selbio » Thu Aug 25, 2005 1:59 pm

I was just wondering if there was any utility out there to check on my Sapphire 9600PRO 256mb temperature and fan rpm.
Best Regards,

Those cards don't have built in sensors, so utilities won't work. You'd need to put a diode near the chip from an external temp sensor. You could probably do the fan RPM also with a combo temp/fan monitor that fits in the drive bay.

No built-in sensors that connect to the outside world... but usually there is a 3-wire connector to make certain that the fan is running (but that's for internal use only)
