Well Ebay is a little risky to get electric goods off of.  Does it not have a life time guarantee or anything? could try using that?

Im so excited, I have to tell someone. I ordered all the parts on E-bay.

PCchips motherboard 400Mhz FSB (cheap, but seems to be good)
AMD 1.6 Ghtz CPU (will upgrade later)
Nvidia 128MB Video card (dont remember what kind exactly) has VGA, S-video, DVI out
Black ATX case with CPU temp monitor screen right on it.
20GB Hard drive for starters
450W power source

Thats about it, but it will make my current PC look like a commodore 64.

Ah your first comp...

I remember when i built my first comp, it was a rush. Its a good begining. One day, you'll be building a system like mine.

well, I found out that it may not have been my mom board, but my processor. appearently, when an AMD chip goes bad, it can kill the MoBo. So, I went and bought a brand new Asus A7N8X-X (or something like that) and popped in my chip, hooked everything up, turned it on, and got no response. Luckily my new MoBo is covered by warenty, and I found the same CPU on newegg for $45. So, I guess Ill replace them both. Man, I didnt think this would be such a hassle...
