You'll notice that you have many options on how to defragment.
I use the "complete access" this rearranges the file structure in its first run so depending on how much you have on the HD could take awhile, but it puts the files used most often towards the front of the HD, meaning the HD doesn;t have to work as hard to find things. After a inital run of "complete access" I normally defrag using the "space" method, pretty quick and real thorough . Be sure to read all the options so you choose the one that suits you the best.
Another nice thing is that you can also defrag you page file with it!
