I have the same prob as daz and every one else on my wingman extream 3d (It's not feed back  :'( ) . When the trottle on the stick is pulled to 0%, it stays at 5%, and when it is all the way up at 100%, it stays on 75% in game.

And the x/y axis hast't realy bee screwing up yet, but when I'm in spot, I can see the rudder flipping out... but it doesn't effect the plane...

is it a sign of the doomsday?

I don't buy NOTHIN from Logitech. Ever!

I've bought like 5 Logitech joysticks in the past and I have returned every single one of them after a couple of days of use. I don't think I will ever buy another one either.

My wingman keeps losing pitch control after a few minutes and I've only had it about a week. It sort of seems like a software problem. If so is there something I can get to fix it? If not, what joystick should I get to replace it?

I have a Logitech Wingman Force 3D and have absolutely no problems with it, it is the best joystick i have tried (and yes i have tried the Saitek one, but probably not all of them).

I would return that joystick and buy a good Saitek one.

Let me put it this way, every Logitech joystick I've bought I have returned.
I went to a store saturday and bought an old. used Microsoft Sidewinder Precision PRO for like $2.99(seriously) and it is the best one I've had.( I've never had Saitek though but I'm recommending them because my friend has one and he says they are good).

I wish Microsoft made joysticks again, IMHO they were the best.

My Wingman Extreme 3D must be one of the chosen ones then! Over a year and no issues.

Now the Wingman Extreme 3D twitches to the left.. I dont have a small enough 8 sided screw (forgot what its called) for opening it up. Would anyone else have any suggestions on how to overcome this problem?
