Postby harley » Fri May 14, 2004 3:39 pm

hello folks

i have had trouble with my cfs3 for weeks now , and thought i would run it by you fine fellows for the answer.

clean boot and install run config.  when i click to start
cfs3 the openning screen will come up for around 15 seconds, then a black screen will come up for about 10-15 seconds, then back to desktop with no sign of cfs3 in the task bar.

in the past week i have uninstall and installed cfs3 at least 20 times with same results.

help this old man out if you can
thanks much

Can you post some specs of your computer

When I first got windows XP, and only had a little bit of memmory, If I would open too many things some of the things would just dissapear, but I added more ram and wallah problem fixed

I don't think it might be assosiated at all with your problem, but it was worth a shot
Believe half of what you see, 1/4 of what you hear, and nothing that I say

First run cfsconfig.exe then set the visual setting to "Safe" then run cfs3, it should run, and pick a default plane and fly around for a while then exit cfs3 and go back to cfsconfig.exe and set the setting to "Default" and rerun cfs3. Then set your display settings. If this doesn't work then check back with me.

Sometimes your computer just doesn't have enough memory to load a addon plane on start up.
