We have a Swordfish in alpha stadium up at our site for public enjoyment.

Needs quite a bit of work though.
Also loads of ships, missions and some Bf110G-2 variants.

Get the Swordfish, it is really nice even if it's not finished
AvHistory have a Beaufighter, Spit MkI, Hurricane, Mustang MkIII, Hellcat (RN) Wildcat (RN) Corsair (RN)
There is a Spt MkI and Hurricane here at SimV
Loads of good repaints at most sites also.
I'm affraid you won't find anything that is not a zip file though.

i have downloaded the planes but wen i unzipp them they dont seem to go onto the game. can someone help

You can't have two players on the same comp...sorry.

The first step in installing any plane in any version of FS is to read the "Read Me" file.

The creator wants you to enjoy the plane and they will have told you how to install it.

Unzip them into a temporary location first, not right into the sim. Read the READ ME file and follow the instructions and you will be fine.

i have unzipped them and put them into the combat flight sim 3 folder but they dont come up in the aircraft menu does anybody know if they are on the game but i just needt o go somewhere else to get them or if i need to do somethin else

Jimmy, what Hawker sais, there's no general procedure to install an addon.
Unzip the file to your desktop or any other temporary folder first and check the readme text that comes with every addon.
If you find just a folder like "planeXY", this one would go into the CFS3\aircraft subfolder.
also always a good idea to check for possible weapons, pylons and guns inside your new download.
These would go to their respective subfolders in the CFS3 root.

Remember also, some third party planes need the nationality expansion sets installed before they will show up and also many AvHistory planes will not work unless you install the correct weapons and pylons that come with them. You may also need AvHistory's weapon download from their site.
