Well for me I seem to have an easier time shooting down planes, I can sneak up on somthin in the air much easier in mid air, than on the ground.
Plus I have the blue sky as a background instead of the target being so well blended into the landscape, and then there's the AA & small arms fire to deal with.
Heh, at least in the air I know where any fire is gonna come from.
