mm (that stands for mikemike... well, it also stands for millimeter, so I'm just going to call you "88mm" from now on.  I hope that's all right?),

I feel a certain kinship with you.  We both have a double name.

I hear you... guided weapons would be nice.  I miss the timed anti-aircraft rockets of CFS1.
I'm taking a guess that by "guided weapons" you mean air-to-air  or air-to-surface missles that "lock" on to a target, either moving or stationary, and fly directly to that target.  Am I guessing correctly?
If this is the case, my own personal opinion is that if this were possible, it would be a pretty tough nut to crack.  I think it would involve tinkering with the very dynamics of the graphics engine.  I wouldn't expect to see any Sidewinders or Exocets on your P-47 very soon.
That being said, a more likely possibility might be timed weapons, as I already mentioned.   Rockets that explode after a set number of seconds, or bombs that can be dropped into a formation of bombers, then exploded for an airburst... these might be more likely possibilities.
You should check out this site for some of the wacky weapons that the Luftwaffe used: http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/missles.html

I'm a little confused by your second question, 88mm.  Have you made a weapon for CFS3 in GMax that you want to apply a texture to?  Or are you trying to repaint an existing weapon?  I don't know if there are any tutorials specifically for repainting in CFS3... in fact I don't think there are.  You should check out the Aircraft Repainting forum right here on this site: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/ ... oard=repnt
Maybe you can find what you're looking for there.

     Take care, and happy landings.

I don't think CFS3 will have the capabilitys to take guided weapons. I also doubt that it can take timed weapons which is a shame. So no "on the deck" bombing for us.
