I've installed a GC Swordfish campaign with more scenery, aircraft, objects, effects, etc. CFS2 works, but every time I load on Mission Builder it comes up with a message saying "Failed to initialize database...." Could be the scenery. If it doesn't ever work my CFS2 career may be over :'(
The best way over it would be a duplicate install of CFS2. Rename the CFS2 directory folder to any other name. Insert the CD & install in the usual way. You will now have 2 separate installs of CFS2 that will work independently. Providing you have enough space on your HD this can be repeated as many times as you wish. I have 3 installs of CFS2 right now & will soon need another one for beta testing a brand new campaign. You can use different installs for the various theatres (eg. CFS2 Europe) or keep one for your 3rd party campaigns.
