Hello, all my two-wheeled Chums...and enthusiasts...!

A quiet Boxing Day trip to the shops for some more goodies to eat and drink over the festive period!

A rare day with very little people and traffic around!

A little chilly 50F, but no snow or ice on the roads...just a little damp in places!

Like me, enjoy the trip!

Take care, all!

Hello Chums! It's getting decidedly chilly now, in the Land of the Anglo-Saxons, with temperatures below freezing early in the mornings, so my regular daily motorcycle trips can be a bit uncomfortable, at times!
My latest shopping trip, with temperatures just above freezing...>>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1Ru1wYoQsQ&t=201s
I have no problems shopping in my local Supermarket with myself and everyone else fully masked up!
The motorcycle trips give me the chance to go outside in the fresh air and observe other folks...from a distance!
We can order food, etc, on-line, but I prefer to go "real shopping" with my trusty Backpack!
I had my Vaccine injection the other day, but I suspect that that doesn't make me "invincible" now...still got to take precautions!
The weekend has come up now, and am enjoying preparing and cooking all sorts of magic stuff for my daily meals...food to keep me well and healthy!
...the benefits of daily shopping...LOL...!
Take care all, and be safe...
Paul.... :D ...!

The latest shopping trip during waves of continuous rain....>>>>

A few minutes break in the weather and I managed to get to the shops and back again before the next downpour!

Lots of floods in the West of England and Wales recently, closing many roads and flooding houses, etc...

Warmer and drier times to come...soon?... ...!

Celebrating my 87th Birthday on the 2nd of March 2021 on my motorcycle ride around my local countryside on a bitterly cold day!
I intended to go for a long ride, but as the weather was so cold I cut the attempt short and took a shorter route, with frozen fingers!
It was an enjoyable journey nevertheless, and I treated my self to a wonderful home-cooked Birthday Dinner when I got back home...together with a glass (or three) of some very nice wine!

Hello Doug!....

...another "Old" Chum!... :D ...!

...Many thanks!

The aches and pains...(and other unmentionable problems), are starting to rear their ugly heads now... ... ...!

I just keep telling myself that I am still 18 years old, as I terrify all the local villagers on my motorcycles!

...loads of fun.... ...!

My Doctor is always amused when I turn up in his surgery wearing all my biker leathers and crash helmet... :o ...!

He reckons that there must be some sort of magic in all this; "Motorcycling" malarkey, to keep me looking so young and healthy!... ;) ...!

It's not just Sopwith Camel Pilots, who have all the fun!... ...!

Take care, Doug...and everyone out there...and be SAFE!

Paul....Bike it...you'll like it... ...!

hmmmm ..just noticed these posts......wow....87......and you're sill biking though the scenic hedges....wow....you give me encouragement to keep an optimistic view on the future.......i don't know how you can drive when it's below freezing or even close, with icy patches waiting in ambush....you're a brave fella........our summer here is quite short, so getting a motorcycle would be a waste, but...i was thinking of an electric bike....some are pretty powerful, and could handle the steep hills we have here, and give me some exercise to boot.....my wife thinks an e.b. would be dangerous and a smaller motorcycle would be better, where it could keep up with the traffic.....so i'm not sure which way i'll go.....hmmmm....anyways....keep safe and hopefully you can handle those deteriorating discomforts.......cheers, vic

Hello Yan...
Having been daily motorcycling for the past 70+ years, (since 1949), my bikes have been my only daily means of transport since 1990, when I finally gave up my motor car to avoid all the traffic...(no problems with traffic jams ever since!).
I just get wet and cold now...:? ..!
A Motorcycle for you Yan....How about a Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki 125/250cc Motorcycle! Lightweight, cheap to run, with enough speed to get you around anywhere!

https://www.phmotorcycles.co.uk/product ... confirmed/

My little Honda CMX250C Rebel twin cruiser does everything I want of her! Weighs a mere 320LBS, (in old money), with both my feet firmly, and safely, planted on the ground...
...and...no pedalling/batteries involved!
How about a nice little 2021, Honda CB125? Suit you perfectly, until you can get down to Sunny Southern California with a Harley-Davidson Road King! (in my dreams)... ...!
Take care Yan, keep warm, and many thanks for watching!... :D ... :D ...!
