Erickson CH-53 for FSX

Postby Gringo6 » Fri May 10, 2019 6:17 pm

Has anybody found an Erickson CH-53 for FSX ? There is one listed but it seems to be
lacking the bells & Whistles.

I hate to keep SS9 just for this one aircraft.

I guess I got my numbers mixed up. What I want is the Erickson Skycrane,
with the firefighting adaption. Jordan Moore made this for FS8 and FS9, but
it doesn't work very well in FSX. Most of the gauges are obsolete and no
longer workable.

There are two payware packages out there but one at least isn't for
Win 8/10. The other one doesn't say but since it is about the same
price I'd bet the same applies to it too.

Guess I'll have to stay with FS9 for this aircraft at least.

Thanks for your answer.

Nighthawk 117 - I cannot make that one work on my computer, I'm running Win 8.1 so
maybe that's my problem,. Anyway after getting rid of some gauges to stop the trouble
messages as soon as I try to fly it crashes to the desktop. What operating system are
you running ?

I tried the fire fighting livery it is number 732 and shift e lowers pump and shift e+2 lowers sprayer. I am not sure if all the gauges worked or not i but it did fly well. Perhaps trying to reinstalling it? Perhaps part of the file became corrupted??

Nighthawk 117 - The file I fund here at Siviation is not a zip file so maybe that is part of the problem.
Let me look deeper into this and see what I can find.

Nighthawk 117 - The one I found on page 20 of FSX Helicopters says its a zip
file but it isn't. I've tried to unzip it and it won't unzip. Look at it and see.

Nighthawk 117 - Win 8 causes a lot of problems. OK I'll just stay with FS9 for this airplane.

Thanks for all of your help.
