No airspeed indicator

Postby DaveHagen » Fri May 10, 2019 11:02 am

Hello, On my default Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A321, there is no airspeed indicator, why is it and how can I fix that?

Thanks in advantage

Or does someone know how I can add the airspeed indicator on the default A321 and Boeing 747?

I mean the red line next to the speed, like the default 737-800 has

How hard can a airspeed indicator be? It's that red line, like on the default 737-800, next to the airspeed on the PFD, I don't have it on the default A321 and 747 on the PFD, so I want to add it to the PFD

Here the picture: the red circle on the red line is the airspeed indicator, I don't have that on my default Airbus A321 and default Boeing 747-400, but I want it to be added

Image

aircraft.cfg Airbus A321 and Boeing 747-400 (default):

[airspeed_indicators]
airspeed_indicator.0=1
airspeed_indicator.1=1

so it should show up on the PFD on the aircraft, but I don't see it, so how can I fix that?

The airspeed indicator is all the numbers on the left side of the picture of a PFD (Primary Flying Display) that you posted. From 120 at the bottom to 140 160 175 200 220 (and 175 at the top). The red bars at the top of the airspeed indication and at the bottom indicate speed ranges that you must avoid entering in your present configuration (gear, flaps). If you don't have those red bars on the PFD for your B747-400 and A321 it means you either are not in a configuration with any speed ranges to be avoided or this feature is not available on that particular PFD. So no need to do anything, there is nothing wrong.

Ah okay, thank you, I used FS9 until some years ago and the default 747 had the red bars
