Internet location to download approach plates

Postby Gringo6 » Fri Mar 01, 2019 7:41 pm

There used to be several places on the internet where you could download
approach plates but they seem to have all dried up.

Where can approach plates be downloaded now ?

Flightaware.com - browse by airport, IFR plates or VFR sectional tab. It's a great source for USA airports, but other sources must be used for most international plates.

WWW.AVITOP.COM go through the connections to other sites they have over
8,000. You can also try the FINLAND AERONAUTICAL part of their GOV. ALSO
the DANISH I use to have them but they got destroyed and I haven't replaced
them. GOOD LUCK in your task!! I almost forgot F.S. CHARTS.COM I doesn't
cost anything to join you get 15 airports that they keep on record for you,
sometimes you don't get a full set of plates especially on the EURO & RUSSIAN
AIRPORTS but you can print them and join and they are GOOD PEOPLE I have

You can also go to https://aim.naviair.dk/en/
That may not or may get you plates but it also gets you into DUTCH/NORWEIGEN/FINLAND/BRITSH and several other sites so you might
want to go to BARNES&NOBLE and get a AMERICAN /NORWEGIAN DICT. UNLESS you are LEEF ERICKISON! And there a lot of links on that page! <<u
