british columbia is burning up...a friend even sees smoke iwhere he lives north of minniapolis
lots of smoke...but the wind blows from west to east, so we in burns lake, have a chance of surviving.....waiting for rain.....image from my front door.....we have a trailer to carry the most important stuff and we have a place to stay in smithers bc if we really have to....we're not too attached to loosing anything...life goes on one way or another......but it would be nice for our little town to get through this.....

Bad news, Yan!

Every day, I follow all the Wildfires in and around Southern California on Kron4 news, with the smoke often reaching Oregon and Washington State carried on southerly winds, but I never see any news of Wildfires over the Canadian Border!
Like Canuck says...not much of importance going on there... ...!

Paul.

Yan...Have you got a "News Link", (like Kron4), for your area, for me to follow?... ....!

A quick example/view of the smoke at Toledo, Castle Rock, and Longview, interstate I-5, in southern Washington State, being blown down from British Columbia on northerly winds!.....

It's visible all the way down to Vancouver. WA, And Portland in Oregon!

Yan, I've been exploring, and fighting Wildfires, with my little Cessna 150 Aerobat, since the invention of Microsoft's Flight Simulator in FS '98.

Paul...Have Cessna..have bucket of water....will travel... ;) .... ;) ... ....!

Many of my fellow Motorcycle Chums are reporting poor air quality and visibility for Washington and Oregon States, and I suspect, down into California as well, on Northerly winds!

Nothing new though...it happens every year!.... ....!
