It reminds me of a coke can and it has a prop, Caproni made a few weird looking aircraft the Ca 60 Noviplano or Capronissimo.

this is my favorite ww-1 aircraft....guess it was kinda slow, but my guess is that it was only because of the motor.......
and the nieuport 24 ain't bad either......

sorry about the red script...was in a rush.....come to think of it...i'll have to do some research to find out the difference between the rolland and the albatros dva.....aside from the covered engine, i never realized that they looked so much alike......
by the way dave....the caproni ca60 was amazing....just found this flying model video...
