Our lone 'two' [Anglo-Saxon] seasons (they didn't Spring into summer nor observe Autumn with a Fall. By the way, the split/extended summer monath (month) of Lide was not spelled with our 4th alphabet letter, 'd'; it was pronounced as a 'th' sound by a letter from our older alphabet, the letter thorn, the character of which was much like our 'd' with a line though its top (similar to our "t"): ð , thus Liðe .Fozzer wrote:Summer Solstice!
