For the past 20 years, I have enjoyed my daily flight-simming around the State of California, exploring its awesome breath-taking scenery...

...but I am constantly reminded of the news in what goes on in the background, involving its inebriated inhabitants!.....>>>>

Once was a time when New Year's Eve was the most dangerous time to drive, sober or not. Now it's all the time, every time. On the average drive about, here in Miami, and maybe elsewhere also, on any given day, a certain percentage of drivers around you, even if a small percentage, will either be texting, talking, drinking, stoned, armed with a firearm, or just plain incompetent at driving.

I drive like a fighter pilot. Got a sports car, both hands on the wheel, driving gloves, no cell talk or text (I don't even know how to text on a phone), and always watching 360 for anything.

Statistically you're a lot safer flying.
