FS2004 Carriers

Postby jive1 » Mon Jul 31, 2017 2:31 am

Hey!
I have the scenery carr2006.zip. Nice!
However, all aircraft sink through the deck till on sea level, and there is no 'hard' deck where the aircraft can land or take of, nor park.
How can I solve this?

We don't seem to have that file.
You may want to try some of the other landable carriers for FS2004 ...

OK, Dave!
Here is what I have modified: SimOnGround=False ///original was True.
But, not as could be expected, the aircraft did not stay on the carrier's deck, but sinks down again to sea level.
And even when my Cessna, with which I was experimenting, will not sink down, what will it do on all the other carriers? Stay richt on each of them on the deck, or will it sink on these other carriers.
What I am looking for is a solution which lets me land with an aircraft on any of all these carriers.
I think something must herefore be modified in the Afcad of each separate carrier, so that the deck becomes 'hard' and the aircraft cannot sink down.... Right?... Or is this wrong thinking of mine....

Did you activate the Carrier Ocean Flatten Files & Carriers 2006? The Flatten Files must have a higher priority than the carrier scenery in the scenery library.

OK, Dave!
I had not the flatten files above the carrier files. They were in the same folder, alphanumerically.
I modified all flatten files from AF2 into AF1, in the same one single folder as before, and so they come alphanumerically above the carrier files.
All is correct now. The Cessna comes now on each carrier on the right place on deck!
Sorry for my misunderstanding before.
Thank you for your help!
