TDS 787-8, 9, and 10 Nose Down

Postby Azframer » Sat Apr 08, 2017 2:00 am

I downloaded a few of the TDS 787-8, 9, and 10 from Simviation and they all suffered with the same problems. Flying nose down attitude, lifting mains before nose gear came off the ground, and extreme exaggerated nose down condition with full flaps on landing.
I talked with a guy with TDS tonight about a fix for it. He was not very happy that some things are being left out when installing a VC or another panel. In the panel folder, open panel config file. Look for the text that matches the regular text below and add the bold text under it. That should correct the problems I stated above. I tried it out on one of my 10 versions I just downloaded and it fixed it for me.

"I talked with a guy with TDS tonight about a fix for it. He was not very happy that some things are being left out when installing a VC or another panel",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yup, I can only imagine

its equivalent to doing a brake job, putting on new brake shoes,,,, and leaving the DRUMS Off !!!! :o :naughty:

Whats the point if its not goin' to be done properly, because somebody is in a hurry or just plain doesn't get it :shifty: :shifty:

Lets do the wiring in the car and then NOT hook up the Brake Lights ???????????????

Re: TDS 787-8, 9, and 10 Nose Down

Does anyone know the guy Chris Evans, it is his uploads. I don't even know if the guy visits the forum side or not. He is milling out uploads pretty quick. I have downloaded quite a few of the gut POSKY stuff and like what he has done and they were fine.
I went by the TDS Facebook page to see if I could find the fix for the issues I was having. I read a post that the lead post was unavailable and the guys comment to it was D*mn fool. Uh oh. Let me see what this is about, I am new here I want to make sure I don't do this.
Turns out it is about a TDS 787 uploaded to Rikoooo for the exact same thing same cockpit I was having problems with. I did not realize until I had explained my problem. He pointed to the problem and I had to be shown where to insert said lines into the panel config file.
I am still not the know all about all things flight sim, but I know at Rikoooo I downloaded a plane there and found issues with it and wanted to change to correct the issue and I could not make those changes. It was a POSKY 757 with winglets. All files were read only and I was not allowed to change it so I ended up deleting the whole file and decided not to download from there again.

I was almost ready to come back in here swallow my pride and say I was wrong about the fix to the 8 and 9 versions when I got around to trying out the 9 version and I still had the same nose down attitude in flight at cruising altitude and nose down at full flaps still.
Instead I found another problem causing it with the version 9. In FSX you need to make sure you have the FSX version of the air file and model and it will fix the nose down issues. If you have the 2004 version of the 9 and try to fly in FSX you will be staring at the ground on a full flap landing with no horizon in sight out the front.
Now I am off to see if my version of the 8 is flying like it should be. If not I will be making sure I have the correct Model, the correct air file for FSX.
I always down load from the FSX because that is all I have FSX and FSX SE, so I know I was supposed to be downloading the correct version.
Someone has a lot of fixing to do to figure out what needs fixing with the TDS 787 models.
